What we hear from your colleagues

  • Reactive repairs at volume

Large numbers of small jobs, raised against contracts with agreed rates, where the reason for each choice is rarely written down.

  • Contractor compliance

Insurance and trade accreditations need to be current whenever work is done, not just at contract award.

  • Evidence for your board

Showing that planned works were quoted fairly and that tenants got value for money.

How Tenderscape helps

  • Repairs call-offs

Send reactive jobs to accredited contracted suppliers and price urgent work from your agreed rates, with the reason for every choice recorded.

  • More contractors

Find potentially suitable local contractors for repairs and planned works, including firms other public bodies already use. The invitation step flags contractors whose Passport does not meet your requirements; your team reviews suitability before award.

  • Contractor checks

Contractors upload insurance and accreditations once, with expiry dates. Anything missing or expired is flagged before award.

  • Quick quotes for planned works

A consistent route for smaller planned works, with the reasons for each choice kept.

  • Community benefits

Benefits agreed with contractors are tracked through to delivery.

Reporting for your board

One record of how every job and contract was awarded.

  • Repairs jobs and spend by contractor, priced from contracted rates
  • Contractor compliance status at a glance
  • Local and small-business spend
  • If your association publishes an annual procurement report, it is drafted from the same work
About reporting and assurance

What we check

For reactive repairs, planned works and voids, check Gas Safe registration for gas work, NICEIC or SELECT registration for electrical work, and the required insurances. Each has an expiry date and is re-checked before a job is sent. Your team confirms that the evidence covers the work required.

Board and regulator reporting

Export contractor compliance and call-off records to support your Annual Assurance Statement and Annual Return on the Charter evidence for the Scottish Housing Regulator. Your team reviews the evidence and prepares the return; Tenderscape does not submit it to the regulator.
