TenderscapeBot

TenderscapeBot is the name Tenderscape uses when it fetches a web page. You may see it in your server logs as TenderscapeBot/1.0 (+https://tenderscape.co.uk/bot).

When it visits

It visits only when a supplier registering with Tenderscape enters their own website address. It fetches that one page once, reads the page title and description, and suggests them for the supplier’s profile. The supplier checks and edits the suggestions before saving.

What it doesn’t do

• It doesn’t crawl your site or follow links or redirects.
• It doesn’t fetch private or internal addresses.
• It gives up after five seconds and is rate limited.
