A Health Check for your below-threshold buying
How your organisation records, evidences and reports buying below the regulated thresholds, and where the gaps are. We start with a conversation, not a data request.
How it works
- A first conversation, and your published annual procurement report rebuilt from purchase records. No data needed.
- If a Health Check would help, we agree its scope in writing: a minimum dataset and date range, secure transfer, named contacts, and rules on use, retention and deletion. Any personal data is screened for a data protection impact assessment first.
- We map what purchasing data you hold and where the gaps are, how below-threshold purchases are recorded and evidenced today, and what a sample shows about suppliers, routes and contract records.
- A recommendations session: a gap analysis against your current reporting, and a proposed pilot scope with three to five measures.
Measures to choose from
- Share of purchases on a recorded route
- Suppliers invited and responses per quick quote
- Share of your current suppliers registered and Passport-ready
- New suppliers invited, and first-time winners
- SME and local share of invitations and awards
- Time from request to award
- Time to prepare the annual procurement report
What it won’t claim
- A sample of payment data doesn’t show the full procurement picture.
- A purchase with no Public Contracts Scotland award isn’t a sign that anything was done wrong.
- Not every field can be matched automatically. We show our method and its limits.
Your data
Nothing is sent until the scope is agreed in writing. We use your data only for the Health Check and delete it once the Health Check is done, unless you ask us to keep it.
We are scheduling Health Checks from December 2026.
